I have hammertoes too and they are so painful! I don't want to have surgery just yet, I would like to hold off if I can. But, I have been wearing the Pedifix Single Toe Straightener lately to help with the pain. It really seems to work. It holds my toes down and makes it easier to wear shoes. If anyone is interested in trying it, I ordered it online at Therawear.com and I think the website is http://www.therawear.com/pedifix_single_toe_straightener.html. I hope this helps!
