As the world says good-bye to MJ, fans may be surprised to learn that MJ invented and patented a new heel design for shoes – specifically, a “Method and means for creating anti-gravity illusion.”
Essentially, he had created shoes with a slotted heel that could lock onto a peg in the stage floor that allowed him to lean forward at gravity-defying angles.
